The Boathouse Arts Organisation
BoatHouse Arts is a York based unincorporated voluntary, not-for-profit organisation. BoatHouse Arts aims to make arts workshops, performances, exhibitions and educational groups available to those who would may not normally be in touch with the arts, to run integrative projects for private and public groups and to provide opportunity for those wishing to develop their artistic abilities.
BoatHouse Arts aims to create opportunities for groups and individuals who may struggle to access workshops, whether due to lack of funds, accessibility, encouragement, education, support and / or awareness.
BoatHouse Arts' immediate plans are for taster workshops in portrait painting, clay sculpting, street dance, somatic dance, voice work, theatre, felt and print making.
The BoatHouse wishes to remain open to possibilities from all of the arts and encourages the cohesion of both social groups, medias and methods.
